FareShare Sussex are entering an exciting period of unprecedented growth. Thanks to funding from Big Lottery Fund and Asda, we are able to increase our capacity to re-distribute more surplus food to an increasing amount of charitable projects. With a target of tripling the amount of food we re-distribute to 1500 tonnes per year by 2021!
As a collection & delivery driver for FareShare Sussex you will collect food from our food partners as well as deliver food from our Regional Centre based in Moulsecoomb to our charity members within the region. You will be the face of FareShare, being a regular point of contact with our local food partners, as well as our diverse range of member charities receiving food. In addition, you may also act as a host for volunteers who may join you as van assistants. You will also support with a range of operational activities such as inputting stock, stock checks and creating food orders, using our online stock management system.
