Get dirty for FareShare Sussex! 8th October 2017

Mud Monsters Run is an award winning mud and obstacle race that will not disappoint. Not only is it a great deal of fun, it is also a challenge event committed to supporting local charities by offering reduced sign-up fees to its fundraisers!

Mud Monsters Run have three different distances for you to pick from – 5km, 10km or 20km (double lap). Whichever you choose you will be taken on an amazing muddy journey across fields, up steep hills, through woods, washing off in river crossings, navigating through mud craters, fighting your way through deep muddy bogs, with up to 120+ obstacles and many more muddy surprises along the way.

The great thing is there are so many obstacles that you never have to run very far before taking on a new and exciting obstacle challenge.  People of all abilities are welcome – whether you regularly compete in obstacle races or are thinking of making this your first one, just pick the distance that is right for you. Mud Monsters are a friendly run that offers encouragement and positivity, not punishments. They want everyone to have loads of fun and achieve personal goals along the way, whether it’s beating a previous time, completing the monkey bars, scaling the vertical wall or working as a team to get around the course together.

When and where?

The next event takes place on Sunday 8th October 2017 at their permanent site in the beautiful Sussex Countryside just 5 minutes from the centre of East Grinstead. The start waves begin at 10am and go every 15 minutes until midday – the number of runners per wave is restricted so make sure you sign up to your preferred time before it sells out!

How much money should I raise?

We would love it if our participants could raise a minimum of £150 each though we do not see this as an upper limit! All your donations go a long way, with £150 enabling us to deliver enough food for 750 meals and prevent 420 KG of food from being wasted.
