Coronavirus Emergency Appeal

FareShare Sussex is more determined than ever to keep up distributing surplus and donated food to the community’s most vulnerable people.

We have had to make lots of changes, bringing in new processes to keep our dedicated team of regular and new volunteers safe, as well as find ways to reach more people as the need for food support increases.

In the last few weeks we have been thrilled by the offers of volunteer time from the region. With many of our regular workforce in isolation, we are working through our applications to get as many of you volunteering as safely possible. Without your support we couldn’t deliver, and for this we thank you all.

In this unprecedented time, as our operation ramps up we have increased costs that include volunteer expenses, health and safety, fuel and cleaning products. For those unable to volunteer, or waiting to be signed up, you may wish to support us with a donation.

To give £5, please text GIVEFOOD to 70450

Texts cost £5 plus one standard rate message.
