FareShare Sussex is recruiting a temporary Warehouse Assistant for six months. The role will involve working in a very busy warehouse environment picking orders, receiving deliveries, ensuring health and safety and food hygiene policies are adhered to, stock control and supporting volunteers in these processes.
FareShare is fighting food poverty and tackling food waste by redistributing surplus from the food industry to food hubs, community groups and charities. As this is a temporary six month role we ideally need someone with experience and the right skills to ‘hit the ground running’. This is funded through the Waste Resources Action Programme to support FareShare’s work in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Location: Moulsecoomb, Brighton
Duration: 6 months (fixed term contract)
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £19,342 annum
